The 19th Annual Certificate Awarding Ceremony of Iqra Academy (Madrassa) was held at ZTBL Staff College Islamabad on 19.01.2022. A large number of students and their parents also attended the ceremony. Total of 35 students completed Nazra Quran whereas 04 students managed to learn Quran by heart/ Hifz Quran-e-Pak.
Qari Noor Muhammad, Muallam Iqra Academy, in his introductory speech informed that Iqra Academy (Madrassa) was started in 1986 for the children of bank’s employees. Since then 590 students have completed Quran and 08 students have learnt Quran by heart (Hafiz).
Students were awarded certificates, gifts and a copy of Quran-e-Pak on successfully completing Nazra Quran & Hafiz Quran by Mr. Shoukat Mehboob, Head(T&DD) and Mirza Rasheed-ud-Din, Head Staff College Department, the ceremony concluded with tea, refreshment and group photos, which was very much appreciated by the participants.
